SPM is well aware of the requirements and constraints of healthcare professionals, and offers them products tailored to their needs: 

  • An antibacterial material: guaranteeing bacteriostatic* performance
  • Proven virucidal activity: 99.96% of virus eliminated after 2 hours of contact (tested on human coronavirus)
  • Perfect decontamination: thanks to its resistance to frequent use of disinfectants, it achieves effective levels of decontamination
  • High-performance products: for use in level 3 and 4 high-risk infectious areas.
  • Impeccable hygiene: with a range specially designed to facilitate cleaning and resist stubborn stains from eosin and betadine as per standard NF EN ISO 26987.
  • Bactericidal performance: a bactericidal treatment can be applied to Decochoc and Decoclean coverings and SPM handrails, totally eliminating multiple strains of bacteria, some of which are responsible for nosocomial infections.

SPM’s expertise in the healthcare sector means that we can find solutions to ensure the long-term future of interior spaces while improving the stay of all patients and the day-to-day lives of staff:

  • Impact and scratch resistance: greater than 15 joules (NF EN 17104 standard) and 110 joules (ASTM F476-84 standard), i.e. up to 320 kg at 3 km/h. 
  • Compliance with  M1/Bs2d0 fire regulations.
  • A limited carbon footprint of 7.47 kg eq. CO2/m2 on SPM wall protection panels.
  • A formulation that is clean free from solvents, heavy metals, PBT and BPA.
  • Optimum watertightness: thanks to a panel/panel or panel/flexible floor heat-welded system with seals for perfect watertightness. A solution compatible with Gerflor floors for airtight skirting boards.
  • Aesthetics: a wide range of decors and colours for wall coverings, creating distinct, warm spaces to enhance patients’ stay. 
  • Accessibility: the possibility of creating contrasts between walls and handrails to make them easier to identify, in order to comply with PRM standards and help patients with certain pathologies (Alzheimer’s, cardiovascular accidents, neurodegenerative diseases: Lewy body, dementia, etc.)
  • Safety: a range of sturdy handrails that provide the ideal support for safe movement.
